Diseño y construcción de un vectocardiógrafo y visualización de la señal mediante el software labview

Abstract

The heart is the main organ in the circulatory system, which provides blood to the body through constant pumping; and as any other organ, at any time during the life of a person, it can show problems due to different factors that may or may not be controllable such as age, poor eating routine, congenital diseases, excessive smoking, lack of physical activity and others. This paper deals on the construction and study of a vectocardiograph, which allows the analysis of the ion currents’ behavior that pass through the heart muscle, which is represented by a phasor, therefore getting a sampling of the change in the heart vector, as a function of time due to the variation of the ion currents that circulate through the heart.
