Implementación de un Sistema Web de Evaluación Formativa en clase para estudiantes de ESPOL

Abstract

This article describes the creation of a Web system to be used in ESPOL classrooms, which the professors can use to create formative evaluations. A research was conducted about the objectives of formative evaluations in the teaching-learning process. After this, the current technologies that allow the creation of quick evaluations were researched, and from their problems and limitations, a new system was created. This system was used in three classrooms in ESPOL, and after the students used it, they filled a survey that measured the easiness, utility and satisfaction about the system. After analyzing the results, it was found that more than 50% of the students found the system easy to use and found it useful for the classroom, and therefore it was concluded that most of the students were satisfied with it. The present work suggests future studies that could be made with the created system
