Description:	TIA S.A. es una empresa nacional, la cual cuenta con un centro distribución ubicado en Lomas de Sargentillo, dicho centro de distribución posee dos galpones de almacenamiento, estas estructuras no abastecen las necesidades de la empresa debido a su crecimiento. Por lo tanto, se ha presentado el proyecto del diseño de una de nave industrial para satisfacer el almacenamiento de activos fijos de la empresa para ello se tiene presente el uso de la metodología BIM para obtener un proceso eficiente y eficaz, se tiene a consideración elegir las opciones de diseño más factibles y económicas para el proyecto. Para el desarrollo del diseño se usaron perfiles con secciones tubulares, debido a las ventajas que este tipo de perfiles tienen dentro de sus características. Se tuvo presente las normativas establecidas por la NEC y así mismo se tomaron a consideración normativas y restricciones por parte de la AISC 360 Specification for Structural Steel Buildings. El proyecto tuvo como presupuesto final $223,482.51 con materiales nuevos, y el presupuesto final con materiales reutilizados por parte del cliente es de $198,116.01, donde el tiempo estimado de ejecución del proyecto es de 74 días, Por medio de la metodología BIM se logró obtener un mayor alcance en el uso de las herramientas digitales las cuales nos facilitaron al desarrollo del proyecto. La elección de perfiles con secciones tubulares presentó una gran ventaja en la sección de mantenimiento de la estructura.
metadata.dc.description.abstractenglish:	TIA S.A. is a national company, which has a distribution center located in Lomas de Sargentillo, this distribution center has two storage sheds, these structures do not meet the needs of the company due to its growth. Therefore, we have presented the project of the design of an industrial warehouse to satisfy the storage of fixed assets of the company, for this we have in mind the use of the BIM methodology to obtain an efficient and effective process, we must choose the most feasible and economical design options for the project. For the development of the design, profiles with tubular sections were used, due to the advantages that this type of profiles have within their characteristics. The regulations established by the NEC were considered, as well as the regulations and restrictions established by the AISC 360 Specification for Structural Steel Buildings. The final budget for the project was $223,482.51 with new materials, and the final budget with materials reused by the client is $198,116.01, where the estimated project execution time is 74 days, Through the BIM methodology we were able to obtain a greater scope in the use of digital tools which facilitated the development of the project. The choice of profiles with tubular sections presented a great advantage in the maintenance section of the structure.
