dc.descriptionLa propuesta inicial del diseño conceptual de un laboratorio multidisciplinario para la Facultad de Ingeniería en Ciencias de la Tierra, mediante el cual se propone el diseño arquitectónico que contará de dos partes, una de ellas será un edificio de dos niveles de hormigón armado destinado para el área administrativa, el cual constará con baños, bodega, sala de reuniones y taller de herramientas menores, la segunda parte consiste de una nave industrial dónde estarán ubicadas las áreas de estructuras, pavimentos y materiales de construcción, así como el equipamiento de dichas áreas. Se propuso la distribución de espacios dentro del laboratorio contando con maquinaria necesaria para realizar ensayos en las áreas antes mencionadas, de acuerdo con la normativa INEN, y se diseñan los elementos estructurales del edificio de hormigón armado según la NEC. Se estableció un presupuesto referencial de la estructura mixta y de los equipos y maquinarias a implementarse, el cual debe entrar a revisión por las autoridades de la FICT.-

dc.description.abstractenglishThe initial proposal for the conceptual design of a multidisciplinary laboratory for the Faculty of Engineering in Earth Sciences, through which the architectural design that will have two parts is proposed, one of them will be a building with two levels of reinforced concrete destined for the administrative area, which will include bathrooms, a warehouse, a meeting room and a workshop for minor tools; the second part consists of an industrial warehouse where the areas of structures, pavements and construction materials will be located, as well as the equipment of said areas. The distribution of spaces within the laboratory was proposed, with the necessary machinery to carry out tests in the aforementioned areas, in accordance with the INEN regulations, and the structural elements of the reinforced concrete building are designed according to the NEC. A referential budget for the mixed structure and the equipment and machinery to be implemented was established, which must be reviewed by the FICT authorities-
