Description:	El cambio climático es un problema ambiental que afecta al planeta y sus consecuencias son devastadoras. Una de las formas de combatir ese problema es a través de la educación y la concientización ambiental de los niños. El propósito de este proyecto consiste en desarrollar una propuesta de comunicación visual creativa y accesible que, transmita un mensaje claro y efectivo sobre los impactos del cambio climático a un público infantil. Esto se consigue a través de un cuento que reconozca la importancia de comprender este fenómeno de manera asimilable. La hipótesis generada se enfoca en la capacidad de que los cuentos ilustrados, mediante la narrativa visual, pueden captar el interés y participación de los niños. Además, se busca fomentar una conexión emocional y empática con respecto al cuidado del medio ambiente y la lucha contra el cambio climático. Se aplicaron metodologías basadas en estrategias visuales como lo son el design thinking y el visual thinking, y herramientas que permitan entender si los niños comprendieron el mensaje del cuento como ?Cuentidatos? una herramienta de creación propia. Para validar el cuento se tomaron en cuenta a ilustradores y niños. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron que los niños fueron capaces de captar la moraleja de la historia y que las interpretaciones dependían de su nivel de conocimiento sobre el tema. Además, la inclusión de actividades generó una mayor conexión con la temática y las ilustraciones fueron bien recibidas por los niños y les permitió entender la historia sin necesidad del texto, siendo su escena favorita el final, donde todo se solucionó. Como conclusión se llegó a que el cuento ?Algo extraño está pasando? comunica un mensaje efectivo que les permite a los niños comprender que las pequeñas acciones sirven para poder proteger a la naturaleza. metadata.dc.description.abstractenglish:	Climate change is an environmental issue that affects the planet, and its consequences are devastating. One of the ways to fight this problem is through environmental education and awareness among children. The purpose of this project is to develop a creative and accessible visual communication. This proposal conveys a clear and effective message about the impacts of climate change on children. This is achieved through a story that recognizes the importance of understanding this phenomenon in an assimilable way. The hypothesis focuses on the ability of illustrated stories to catch children's interest and participation through visual narrative. In addition, it seeks to foster an emotional and empathetic connection with respect to caring for the environment and the fight against climate change. Methodologies based on visual strategies such as design thinking and visual thinking were applied, as well as tools that allow us to understand if the children understood the message of the story, such as ?Cuentidatos?, a self-created tool. To validate the story, illustrators and children were considered. The results showed that the children were able to understand the moral of the story and that the interpretations depended on their level of knowledge on the topic. Furthermore, the inclusion of activities generated a better connection with the topic and the illustrations were well received by the children?. It allowed them to understand the story without needing the text and their favorite scene was the end, where everything was solved. In conclusion, the story ?Algo extraño está pasando? communicates an effective message that allows children to understand that little actions need to be taken in count to protect nature.
