Recomendaciones para la construcción de viviendas de interés social en la provincia del Guayas

Abstract

Nowadays the need for housing is becoming greater in our Country. For that reason, we have selected some social-interest housing designs being built in the Guayas Province for our study. From these designs we have made a few construction recommendations that allow an increase in safety for the occupants and a greater life span for the utilization of these houses. A complete analysis of each Construction Procedure has been necessary to make in order to reach our determination. Once our study has been fulfilled and met our objectives, we can conclude that the constructed Social interest housing in the Guayas province are usually designed with traditional materials, such as reinforced concrete and concrete blocks. It is necessary to conduct a previous study to identify which people's necessities require this type of housing and that way be able to identify their basic needs and the best design for each case.
