Abstract: | The investment project we are going to talk about in this article, consist in developing a Hostel Spa, the one who is going to be called “Maravilla de los Andes” and that is going to be situated in San Jose de Chimbo city, in the Bolivar Province. This business idea emerged from the need to foster the touristy activities in this little and almost unknown city, the one who has a no end of natural, gastronomic, and cultural richness. To evaluate the feasibility of this project, a series of studies were developed, such as the technical one, the financial one, and others, where were considered all the aspects that could affect on the success of the hostel, such as the customer needs in terms of which places they prefer to visit, the prices they’re willing to pay, the costs of the materials required to offer the different services in the hostel, the initial investment required, the competitive analysis, the sources for financing the project, etc. Finally, after a hard work and a long period of evaluation, the result obtained was that the project is profitable, giving us a strong motivation to start the business in the future. |
