Resumen : The campus " Ing. Gustavo Galindo Velasco " is located in the Santa Elena Province and comprehends 1.200Km2. The studied and analyzed areas were: Estacion Casa Bomba, Estación Gas Natural Vehicular (GNV) and the Electrical Substation. This last one was constructed by the English standard electrical norms, which were not established inside the Ecuadorian Standards and that therefore raise difficulties for the reinstatement of devices when these finish its useful life or need corrective and preventive maintenance. The stations Casa Bomba and Gas Natural Vehicular, have been modified recently, they are based on the procedure NFPA 70 and NEC. In each of them there has been applied three analysis of Risks methods: Checklist, What If? Method and The Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). This analysis allowed us to check the level of risk that is present in each of the stations studied for a better control, functioning, maintenance and the electrical device protection. We think that these studies are of a lot of interest not only for the security of the personal from the company, but also for the electrical device maintenance , optimizing its useful life and a constant improvement in its processes
