Resumen:
The thesis Project CONGRESOS EN WEB 2.0 built an application that allows the event management over the
Facebook web site platform. This application has several features such as add, modify, delete congress which
relies on the existing events features on Facebook and these events may have several guest, starting and ending
dates and other basic features. The application Congresos en web 2.0 allows to extend the basic Facebook events
functionality with modules such as: Live streaming supported by Ustream, event location supported by Google
Maps and calendar based on the Google Calendar API. All these additional features gives a special value and
converting Congresos in web 2.0 to a fully-featured application for the modern online and offline congress. Within
this document will reviews its technical potential, financial and market approach of the application.
