Análisis del sistema de distribución de una compañía manufacturera y comercializadora de aceros

Abstract

In brief terms, the development of this study is centered in the analysis of the system of distribution of a company manufacturer and distributor of steels, due to the existence of problems located in the logistical area, as the cases for loss of sales when not completing the delivery weight set by the external transport that implies the restriction of outgoing of the trucks. The increment of particular transport companies in Ecuador has transformed the load transport into a very concerned and at the same time advantageous sector for the small ones transport, due to the level of costs to which have to incur. The companies with own fleet have a great challenge when competing against this envelope it offers of load transport in the market. The company doesn't have a study of its distribution system, reason why the development of the present project is of supreme importance to determine the best operating system in the logistical area that should implement, for the minimization of its distribution costs, giving the possibility to increase its productivity, service and competitiveness, by means of a better use of its resources.
