Abstract: This paper presents the basic principles, design and implementation of a heart bioelectric signals acquisition module. Electrical derivations are taken and signal treatment, then enter to present on the computer monitor on the parallel port. The module consists of different blocks: block signal processing where it is amplified, filters, and adds a DC voltage so that is ready to enter the next stage that digitalization; this stage of digitalization is composed of microcontroller PIC16F877 that takes three signals and digitizes them according to the receiving computer sync signal. Once entered the signals for the parallel port, are presented in a graphical interface developed in Visual Basic, it displays three established derivations.
