| Abstract: | This project shows aproposal to provide internet and fixed telephony services using a CDMA450 wireless network for the canton Baba, Los Rios province. The area of interest has 33,9 Km², 18 recintos and three primary schools, with communication needs for near 500 people, influencing them to development and improve of their lifestyle. The network consists of abase station and the terminals equipment of CDMA 1x EV-DO for the end users; the communication between users begins from terminal to the base station, then continues through the trunk link to be interconnected to the nearest commuting nodes of the operator. The trunk link between the base station and the operator node uses a microwave link. As a result of the preliminary financial projection, the project recovers the initial investment after the 10th year, using the conditions set for rural service area. |
| Description: | El presente proyecto muestra el estudio realizado para ofrecer servicios de internet y telefonía fija usando una red con tecnología CDMA450 dentro del cantón Baba, en la provincia de los Ríos. El sector de interés con 33,9 Km², está conformado por 18 recintos y 3 escuelas fiscales, buscando satisfacer las demandas de comunicación de cerca de 500 habitantes, aportando al desarrollo y mejoramiento de su estilo de vida. La red consiste en usar una radiobase y equipos terminales CDMA 1x EV-DO para los usuarios finales; la comunicación entre usuarios se realiza desde el terminal a la radiobase, pasando por el enlace troncal para interconectarse con la central telefónica más cercana de la operadora. El enlace troncal entre la radiobase y el nodo de la operadora se efectuará vía microondas. Como resultado de la estimación financiera, el proyecto es viable a partir del año 10 donde se recupera la inversión inicial, bajo las condiciones planteadas para servicios tipo rural. |
