Guía de cooperación internacional para el turismo en Ecuador

Abstract

CONDITION FOR PUBLICATION OF PROJECT. project proposes the development of a strategic guide to facilitate access to international cooperation for communities, tourism ventures, and local governments in Ecuador. The initiative arises from the limited availability of clear and accessible information on how to apply for funding and cooperation partnerships for sustainable development. The Design Thinking methodology was applied, structured into five phases: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Throughout the process, semi-structured interviews, documentary analysis, and the design of visual tools were carried out. The resulting product was a digital prototype in the form of an interactive guide, aimed at facilitating access routes, identifying key actors, and highlighting cooperation opportunities. The main findings revealed the need for practical tools adapted to local contexts and written in accessible language. It is concluded that this type of instrument can significantly contribute to strengthening the links between territories and international cooperation.
