Abstract:
This document is the professional work report which details the automation of two packaging machines Ecuasal
CA, of the refinery section. The operation of the two packaging units of salt, in a plastic bag, was questioned
because of its low efficiency. The low efficiency is given by the continuous production stop due to failures in control
systems. One of the machines had a system of electro-mechanical control, the other packing machine had a system
of electrical-electronic control. It was determined that the mechanical constitution of the units was able to continue
to operate profitably, so that justified making an upgrade of the control systems of production units using
programmable logic controllers. This article will describe the automation of the control unit electro-mechanical as
an example.
