Abstract:
The purpose of this project is to design and implement a computer system capable of managing academic and
behavioral assessments of learners in an educational institution tax rate , allowing the teachers record grades
obtained by students participating in the courses of a semester in which enrolled and issuing report cards are to
notify the representatives of the students’ performance level as you progress the educational period , starting from
the registration of qualifications, has the ability to generate certificates enrollment, attendance and promotion ,
together with the record of the data sheets of the students and the production of statistical reports necessary to
determine the volume of students who require more attention from teachers for subjects. The whole structure of the
computer system has been defined as SIREVAC " Registration System Academic Evaluations and Behavior ," in
him the standards of Education District 5 , according to the Regulations of the Organic Act contemplated
Intercultural Education ( LOEI ) , effective from academic year 2013-2014 .
The project is divided into several chapters , exposing the background of the beneficiary institution of the project
according to the agreement signed between the Joint No. 62 Bethsabé Castillo of Castillo Fiscal School and the
Polytechnic School of the Coast , the theoretical framework of also exposed tools used in the implementation under
the GPL ( General Public Licence) , the functional requirements are determined and analyzed nonfunctional in the
production of computer system, the explanation of the implementation phase and the final results .

El propósito del presente proyecto es el de diseñar e implementar un sistema informático capaz de gestionar las
evaluaciones académicas y de comportamiento de los educandos de una institución educativa de tipo fiscal,
permitiendo a los docentes el registrar las calificaciones obtenidas por los estudiantes participantes en las
asignaturas de un periodo lectivo en el que se encuentren matriculados y la emisión de boletines de evaluación, para
notificar a los representantes de los alumnos el nivel de rendimiento a medida que avanza el periodo educativo,
partiendo del registro de calificaciones, tiene la capacidad de generar certificaciones de matrícula, asistencia y
promoción, en conjunto con el registro de las fichas de datos de los alumnos y la producción de informes
estadísticos necesarios para determinar el volumen de estudiantes que requieren una mayor atención por parte de los
docentes por asignaturas. Toda la estructura del sistema informático se lo ha definido como SIREVAC “Sistema de
Registro de Evaluaciones Académicas y de Comportamiento”, en él se contemplan las normas emitidas por el
Distrito 5 de Educación, de acuerdo al Reglamento de la Ley Orgánica de Educación Intercultural (LOEI), vigente a
partir del periodo lectivo 2013 - 2014.
El proyecto se encuentra dividido en varios capítulos, exponiéndose los antecedentes de la institución beneficiaria
del proyecto de acuerdo al convenio firmado entre la Escuela Fiscal Mixta Nº 62 Bethsabé Castillo de Castillo y la
Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral, también se expone el marco teórico de las herramientas utilizadas en la
implementación con licencias GPL (General Public Licence), se determinan los requerimientos funcionales y no
funcionales analizados en la producción del sistema informático, la explicación de la fase de implementación y los
resultados finales obtenidos.
