dc.description.abstract	Este trabajo estudia el sistema de gestión para la atención de los requerimientos formulados en los pedidos de los clientes y la distribución de los medicamentos que realiza una empresa farmacéutica en la ciudad de Milagro. Del análisis de la información obtenida de esta empresa, se puede afirmar que no tiene un medio de registro óptimo de los pedidos, por cuanto no dispone de una base de datos que almacene adecuadamente la información, además el sistema de gestión de pedidos de los clientes, se basa en visitas de campo, a cada uno de los locales, generando gastos de personal y movilización. El proceso de entrega de los productos a los clientes, en algunas ocasiones, no se cumple en el horario previamente acordado, generando reclamos e insatisfacción.

dc.description.abstractenglish	This paper studies the management system for dealing with the customers’ orders and the distribution of drugs performed by a pharmaceutical company in Milagro. From the analysis of the information obtained from this company, we can say that it doesn’t count with an optimal way of keeping record of orders, because it doesn’t have a database that properly stores the information, also the management system for the customers’ orders is done with field visits to each store, generating staff and mobilization expenses. The process of delivering the products to the customers sometimes isn’t met in the time previously agreed, generating complaints and dissatisfaction. As indicated, the project proposed seeks to solve these problems, by using two methods looking for an optimization in the information system and the vehicle routing system. Regarding the data collection, it will be developed an effective and efficient registration system, properly organized, which ensures the maintenance and updates of all the customers’ information, like personal data, change of address, and the orders. It’ll also help the sales staff area to make inquires. In addition, to optimize the product distribution the VRPTW (Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows) model will be used by first obtaining the initial routing from the heuristic of the nearest neighbor and then applying the Simulated Annealing Metaheuristic.
