Diseño de un proceso de gestión y formalización para la oferta de alojamiento turístico en cerro Ayampe

Abstract

CONDITION FOR PUBLICATION OF PROJECT. This project aims to provide a practical solution to the problem of informality in a tourist accommodation located on communal land in Ayampe, considering that in rural areas of Ecuador informality reaches 79.1%. The hypothesis suggests that a visual tool adapted to the local context can facilitate formalization and reduce barriers associated with dispersed procedures, legal gaps, and lack of information. The relevance of this project lies in its potential to generate economic opportunities and strengthen f ormal tourism through clear and accessible processes. The project was developed under the Design Thinking methodology. Semi structured interviews, regulatory review, and consultations with entities such as the Municipality of Puerto López and the Fire Department were carried out. Based on this information, a Formalization Manual was designed, prototyped, and validated directly with the client. The results showed that the manual conveys trust, clarity, and motivation. The client highlighted its visual structure, interactive links, and organized requirements; therefore, the manual is an effective and replicable tool with scalability potential for other accommodations through the incorporation of digital resources.
