Abstract:
CONDITION FOR PUBLICATION OF PROJECT. This Project proposes the development of a graphic system meant to introduce Ecuadorian Sign Language (LSEC) into primary education schools, with the aim of facilitating the learning of fundamental vocabulary, to promote inclusion and awareness towards the deaf community.
The project is based on the limited presence of LSEC in the school system and the need to promote empathy and cultural awareness from an early age. A qualitative methodological approach was employed, involving the selection of essential vocabulary and the design of didactic graphic pieces. Resulting on the design of a recreational strategy made by illustrated cards, a methodological manual and a conceptual mural. The prototype was produced in printed format and tested in a real classroom context with primary school students.
After the validation process, a positive response from the students was observed, highlighting the basic understanding of the proposed vocabulary, and a genuine interest in continuing to learn. Additionally, positive impact toward sensitization toward LSEC was identified. It is concluded that the graphic system works as an effective tool for introducing LSEC in the school context, integrating basic learning, inclusion and awareness through a recreational and visual approach.

dinámica lúdica compuesta por tarjetas ilustradas, un manual como guía metodológica y

ural didáctico. El prototipo fue producido en formato impreso y puesto a prueba en
un contexto real de aula con estudiantes de educación básica.
Al validar, se evidenció una respuesta favorable por parte de los estudiantes,
destacando su comprensión inicial del vocabulario propuesto y un interés genuino por
continuar aprendiendo. Asimismo, se observó un impacto positivo en la sensibilización
hacia
la LSEC. Finalmente, se concluye que el sistema gráfico desarrollado funciona
como una herramienta pertinente para introducir la LSEC en el ámbito educativo,
integrando aprendizaje básico, inclusión y sensibilización mediante un enfoque lúdico y
visual.
